25 Virgin Island High School Students will learn how to start and grow an agriculture/ conservation-related business

PEMBROKE PINES, FL – November 16, 2010 – Mission Possible: Youth Entrepreneurship Camp will make its debut in the Virgin Islands December 15-17, 2010 at the Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa. Mission Possible: Youth Entrepreneurship Camp was developed and will be led by the AMPS – (Advanced Minds Pursuing Success) – Entrepreneurship & Leadership Institute. Twenty-five motivated US Virgin Island high school students between 14 & 19 years of age will participate in the ground-breaking entrepreneurial and leadership program. The Institute is partnering with the Virgin Islands Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc. (V.I. RC&D)

The Youth Entrepreneurship Camp is designed for selected lhigh school students to provide basic knowledge needed for youth to compete successfully in a free market system through innovative leadership techniques and entrepreneurial real world experiences. Environment, agriculture career opportunities and agri-business planning will be one of the main highlights. Students will participate in intensive, interactive educational sessions that will unlock their leadership potential through skills- based workshops focusing on entrepreneurship, public speaking, conservation, ethics, effective communication, goal setting, creative thinking, time management and financial skills development.
